First Proper Post

Today I have spent hours doing what now seems like very little for the time it has taken. Namely, got up and put on my cycling gear which can be a hugely demoralising task. To explain this I'll try to put you into the mind of me, of a morning, shortly before going out on the bike.

This Is What My Blog Is Going To Be About

Hi I'm James Brandon. I have a brain tumour that I have decided to call Herbert after my favourite Family Guy character. Herbert's asleep at the moment thanks to the excellent surgeons, doctors, MRI team, nurses and radiologists at Addenbrookes hospital in Cambridge. I owe you all so much.
Herbert and I are going on a 1000 mile bike ride starting on the 8th of August starting down at Lands End in Cornwall and finishing feck knows when up at the very top of, what's that country called?
