Hi I'm James Brandon. I have a brain tumour that I have decided to call Herbert after my favourite Family Guy character. Herbert's asleep at the moment thanks to the excellent surgeons, doctors, MRI team, nurses and radiologists at Addenbrookes hospital in Cambridge. I owe you all so much.
Herbert and I are going on a 1000 mile bike ride starting on the 8th of August starting down at Lands End in Cornwall and finishing feck knows when up at the very top of, what's that country called?
No, not Wales- that's just a massive county in England. That place above Newcastle where they run around with blue paint on their faces screaming "FREEDERM!". Someone should mention that freederm has sold them something that isn't freederm because it isn't blue and what's more you don't need to put so much on. Just one daily wash with it in the morning should get rid of any black heads they might have. I digress. I think it's called Scotland??? Well anyways I'm doing it to raise money for the Teenage Cancer Trust (TCT) who build specialized units at hospitals across the UK for people around the ages of 12 to 24 so that their treatment can be as painless and comfortable as it can be in the situation. It's a fantastic cause that I'm honoured to be helping to raise funds for and I hope that by keeping this blog up to date and interesting I might in turn drum up interest in the charity itself.
